Six teachers received the TL21 Grant Award for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 school years. 

The grant provides the teachers with computer equipment and training.  The first year $7,600 pays for 62 hours of professional development during the 2010-2011 school year, travel, substitute teachers, and hardware and software for participating classrooms. The focus of the professional development will be on Classroom Instruction that Work by Marzano et al. dealing with how technology can be used to address different learning styles and Understanding by Design curriculum framework.  Each teacher’s classroom will be outfitted with a laptop, LCD projector, document camera and whiteboard.  The second year funding depends on available funding from the Title IID federal grant.
